This past week, Gun Lake Casino, the offline partner of Play Gun Lake Online Casino MI, created even more waves when it filled a highly sought-after job in its hospitality branch.
The Wayland-based casino announced in a press statement on February 23 that Ronaldo Pascual, the new Director of Hotel Operations, will be joining the team. The most recent administrative hire at Gun Lake Casino brings 20 years of hotel operations expertise to his new role.
Several Forbes 4-Star, AAA, and 4-Diamond hotel casino resort sites are included in Pascual’s varied portfolio. This involves the establishment of seven hotels at tribal, riverboat, and land-based casinos.
Over his two-decade career, the seasoned hospitality specialist also obtained a variety of credentials. Specifically, Pascual obtained a General Manager Certification from Hilton Hotels and a Certified Hotel Administrator accreditation from the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
Pascual Has a Long History with Tribal Gaming
According to the statement, Pascual has a wealth of knowledge of Indian Country and has never worked for a commerical or tribal casino in Michigan before. He worked with tribes on their gambling holdings in Louisiana, California, Alabama, and most recently, Pennsylvania.
Ronaldo Pascual is the new director of hotel operations at Gun Lake Casino, and Jose Flores, senior vice president and general manager, said the company is thrilled to have him join.
