A representative for the company said that the WynnBET online gaming platform’s future in Michigan is still “under review.” This comes after the last two months of 2023 when WynnBET’s earnings and market share were falling.

A WynnBET MI Online Casino representative informed us that the Michigan market is under review. Nothing else to add to the initial remarks that were made public in August.

The WynnBET Sportsbook made that announcement as it left Massachusetts on February 1.

The online operator for Kewadin Casinos, WynnBET, is still running an online casino and sportsbook in Michigan.

Out of 13 operators in Michigan, the sportsbook is ranked 8th. Out of 15 MI online casino operators, WynnBET is ranked 10th.

The Falling Market Share of WynnBET

According to earlier reports, revenue at the WynnBET online casino fell to a one-year low in October 2023. The operator had a 2% market share for that particular month.

The revenue and market share of WynnBET among Michigan’s online casinos declined further in November and December.

With around $2.8 million in revenue, November was WynnBET’s lowest month in 2023 with a 1.6% market share. December was not that much better. In December, WynnBET’s online casino brought in slightly over $3.1 million in revenue. As a result, it had a 1.7% market share.

WynnBET’s overall income for the Michigan online casino for the year was a little over $52 million, a 3% decrease from $53.8 million in revenue in 2022. In 2023, its market share was 2.7%.

WynnBET is not doing well in comparison to a record year for total Michigan online casino revenue of $1.92 billion, which was up 21.6% from 2022’s $1.58 billion.
