Caesars Palace has been trying to expand its selection of fresh and unique games among Michigan’s online casinos since August. Has the bottom line improved as a result of the changes?
Caesars Online Casino in Michigan Was Off to a Sluggish Start
The Caesars brand took a while to gain traction in Michigan. Like many other online Michigan casinos, it opened an online casino in January 2021, but its earnings were modest.
When Caesars was open for business from February to December 2021, its monthly average was a little over $1.1 million.
Similar to the majority of online operators, 2022 presented significantly better outcomes.
Despite being a part of Caesars Sportsbook Michigan, the online casino generated monthly revenue exceeding $5.5 million. This represented an increase of about 400% for the product.
Caesars expected a steady increase in their online casino revenue in 2023. It saw $6.96 million on average every month from January to July.
Caesars was, meanwhile, preparing for the August debut of Caesars Palace Online Casino Michigan. Caesars Palace was set to be a separate application from Caesars Sportsbook. With more unique games and jackpot opportunities, it offered a larger selection of titles in its gaming collection.
